Travel Bucket List

As I am gearing up to fly to Vegas tomorrow night and to China in just over a week I thought I would come up with my travel bucket list.

  1. Italy: Rome, Milan, Florence, Naples, and Venice
  2. Greece: Athens
  3. United Kingdom: Cambridge, London, Durham, Liverpool, and Manchester
  4. Germany: Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg
  5. Poland: Warsaw
  6. Thailand: Bangkok
  7. Brazil: Rio, Sao Paulo, and Salvador
  8. Japan: Tokyo, and Yokohama
  9. Australia: Sydney
  10. Canada: Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal
  11. China: Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, and Hong Kong

In the summer of 2014 I got the opportunity to travel to Spain, Portugal, France, Monaco, and Morocco and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I went with a great group of people and truly did have the time of my life.

I am very thankful and fortunate to have parents that share my love for travel. They are two of my favorite people to travel with and I can’t wait to see what adventures await us. My travel bucket list is incomplete but I can’t wait to mark things off and also add new places to the list.

I would love to know places you have traveled to or ideas on where my next adventure should be. Thanks for reading and comments, ideas, and suggestions are welcomed as always.

  2. The one where no one is ready (S. 3, Ep. 2)
  3. The one with the football (S. 3, Ep. 9)
  4. The one with the embryos (S. 4, Ep. 12)
  5. The one with Ross’s Wedding (S. 4, Eps. 23/24)
  6. The one where everyone finds out (S. 5, Ep. 14)
  7. The one with the cop (S. 5, Ep. 16)
  8. The one with the proposal (S. 6, Eps. 24/25)
  9. The one with all the cheesecake (S. 7, Ep. 11)
  10. The one with Monica and Chandler’s wedding (S. 7, Eps. 23/24)
  11. The one with the red sweater (S. 8, Ep. 2)
  12. The one where Ross is fine (S. 10, Ep. 2)
  13. The one with Phoebe’s wedding (S. 10, Ep. 12)
  14. The last one (S. 10, Ep. 18)

Music is a big part of my life and is something I listen to everyday. In this post I am going to name some of my all time favorite songs, their artist, and the year they were released.

  1. The Rembrants: I’ll be there for you (1995)
  2. Billy Joel: Piano Man (1973)
  3. Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody (9175)
  4. Train: Drops of Jupiter (2001)
  5. Celine Dion: Tale As Old As Time (1991)
  6. Bryan Adams: Summer of ’69 (1984)
  7. Lee Brice: Love Like Crazy (2010)
  8. Blink-182: I Miss You (2003)
  9. The Outfields: Your Love (1986)
  10. Dolly Parton: Jolene (1975)
  11. Simple Minds: Don’t You Forget About Me (1985)

  13. Whitney Houston: I Will Always Love You (1992)
  14. The Beach Boys: Kokomo (1989)

Making this list was very fun because I love music and I got a chance to research and listen to different songs trying to figure out what songs I wanted to add to my favorites. Most of these songs expect 3 were all released before I was born. With that being said I truly believe that they don’t make music like they used to.

I would love to know some of your favorite songs. Comments, ideas, and suggestions are always welcomed and encouraged. Thanks for reading.

Happiness is

One of my favorite things to do is make a happiness is list. I make this list about every couple of months because it is a reminder to myself that there are a lot of things that make me happy.

Happiness is…..

  • target
  • Dr. Pepper
  • sleep
  • a good book
  • new tattoos
  • movies
  • Big Bang Theory
  • rain
  • coloring
  • freshly shaved legs
  • alone time
  • book stores
  • being with Justin
  • Christmas music
  • airports
  • a clean house

I made a shorten version of my normal list because I can fill up multiple pages with things that make me happy. This list can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. I encourage all of you to make a list similar to this and truly see how little things can make you incredibly happy.

Thanks for reading as always. I would love comments, ideas, and suggestions.

  3. “Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.” – Robert H. Schuller

As I was making this list I realized you can tell a lot about a person by their favorite quotes. This week I encourage you to ask a person what their favorite quote is and see what you can infer from that. Remembering though not to pass judgement just making inferences.

Thanks for reading as always. I would love to know what some of your favorite quotes are please, feel free to share. Comments, ideas, and suggestions and welcomed as always.

Things I can’t live without

Image result for 8 things i can't live without

The list was surprisingly hard to come up with. It took me longer then I thought to come up with the things. When I started I wanted to come up with 10 things but found that was very hard for me to do and had to settle with 8 things.

  1. Books: I absolutely love to read and a world without books is a world I do not want to be in.
  2. A journal: I need something to write on because I always have thoughts, feelings, or ideas I need to right down.
  3. Dr. Pepper: Hi my name is Kelsey and I am an addict. I have been told that Dr. Pepper runs through my veins.
  4. Netflix: I enjoy a good binge watching session.
  5. Cellphone: I hate to admit it but not having a cellphone would be veryyyy hard.
  6. Chap stick: No matter the time of year I always have like 20 tubes of chap-stick around my house because my lips are always chapped.
  7. Sticky Notes: I am probably the most forgetful person and I use a lot of sticky notes to remind myself to do just about everything.
  8. My parents: My parents are my best friends and we do just about everything together.

These are in no particular order because I love all 8 of these things so much.

Thanks for reading and I would love comments, suggestions, and any ideas to help me make my blog better.

Beauty and the Beast

movie posterI recently went and saw the new Beauty and the Beast movie. There are not enough words to describe how good this movie is.

Title: Beauty and the Beast

Release Date: March 17, 2017

Rating: 10/10

Overview/plot: Belle takes her fathers place when he is taken prisoner by a beast that lives in a castle. Putting her fears to rest she befriends all the enchanted staff members in the castle and eventually looks beyond the fact the Beast is a beast.

My thoughts: Beauty and the Beast is by far my favorite Disney movie and I was a little skeptical at first when I found out about the remake of such a good animated movie. I have to say this is a very well done remake. It stayed true to the original movie but also had just enough new additions to make it different. They picked the perfect person to play Belle, but I do think they could have choose a better person to play the Beast. Overall Disney did a fantastic job.

  1. Beauty and the Beast By: Gabrielle- Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve (1740)
  2. Beauty and the Beast novelization By: Disney (2017)
  3. Beauty and the Beast: lost in a book By: Jennifer Donnelly (2017)

I have read the Disney novelization book and the Jennifer Donnelly book is currently on my book shelf waiting to be read. I would love to read the original book to see how well it follows the first Beauty and the Beast animated movie released in 1991.

This movie was really good and I will be buying it when it comes out on DVD. I am a huge Beauty and the Beast fan and have been long waiting to see this movie.

Thanks for reading and as always I would love comments, ideas, and suggestions. I have been throwing the idea around of doing an interview with someone and posting a blog about it but not sure exactly what I want to do so if anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.
